At The Center for Arts & Wellbeing, I bring together my experience as a musician, educator, and arts and wellbeing practitioner to create engaging, evidence-informed experiences for organizations and groups.
The Listening Lab is a two-hour, experiential workshop that uses music, guided listening, and creative engagement to explore how attention, expectations, and personal experiences shape what we hear and how we respond to others.
Through shared musical experiences and reflection, participants discover different perspectives, challenge assumptions, and explore how listening shapes their interactions with others.
Greater awareness of their own listening habits and how personal experiences influence perception.
New perspectives on how others experience and interpret the world.
Practical listening tools they can apply in their personal and professional lives.
Designed for healthcare and educational institutions, professional groups, and community organizations.
Format: Two-hour facilitated workshop
Group size: Approximately 10–20 participants
Experience: No musical background required
Available as a standalone workshop or a series.
I also offer speaking engagements, facilitated conversations, and creative workshops exploring music, hearing loss, arts and wellbeing, and the connections between research and artistic practice.
I collaborate with organizations to shape presentations and workshops tailored to their audiences and interests.
Interested in bringing The Listening Lab to your organization or exploring another opportunity to work together? I'd welcome a conversation.
